The following requirements are the minimum needed in order for an application to be considered:

Be a United States citizen

Be a Montgomery County Resident

At least 21 years of age

Have no felony arrests

Have no misdemeanor convictions within the last 5 years

Not to have been charged with any domestic violence offense

Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent

Possess a valid Tennessee Drivers License
-
Have acceptable credit
-
Pass the Oral Interview before the Reserve Deputy Board

Pass a physical to include a drug screen

Meet the psychological standards required by the MCSO pursuant to TCA38-8-106
-
Be able to volunteer and work a minimum of one shift per month

Be able to attend the monthly training session
-
Be willing to volunteer for special assignments as needed
